Bible Verse: Do not love the world or anything in the world. if anyone loves the world the love of the Father is not in him. For everything in the world - the cravings of sinful man, the lust of his eyes and the boasting of what he has and does -- comes not from the Father but from the world. The world and its desires pass away, but the man who does the will of God lives forever.
Unless the pleasures of serving and loving God surpass the pleasures we derive from this world, we will never see the full glory of God.

There are no more assignments. Thank you to all my students for giving me a great year in Bible 9. My prayer for you is that you may mature and grow in the Lord and that you will be a good steward of the abilities and talents He has given you. During the year we made much of daily Bible reading and journaling each day. To those who have a daily Bible study program or system I pray it takes you to new levels in your personal relationship with Christ. To those who don't....please pray that the Holy Spirit will give you the means and methods to begin one. My offer is still good......if you don't know how or where to start.....please contact your youth pastor and/or myself for some inexpensive yet worthwhile ways to start. May God bless you this summer, protect you from harm, and give you the courage and strength to remain true to God and his principles for your life.
Geography 9 has ended. The maps are done, the vocabulary complete, and the final exam taken. We studied the world, but now what will you do with the world. My prayer for you is that you will look around your world in Richmond, in Virginia, in the United States, and/or overseas to see what God is doing. When you see what God is doing....pray that He will show you your part to play. Remember what I said many, many times.....our Christian service is not finding a "good thing" to do and then asking God to bless it....but finding "God's thing" that He is doing and joining his team. I urge you with all sincerity and honesty to seek out ways you can minister to others not only within the walls of your church but also as far beyond the walls as the Spirit of God would bid you to travel. Have a blessed and spiritually enriching summer.
The last polygon has been analyzed, the last right triangle solved, and the last flipper book complete. God's world has hopefully been revealed to you in the Geometry of creation and the symmetry and order of the natural world. I know you may soon forget many of the specifics of the course and the particular theorems. However, remember all that you see in God's world....the orbits of the solar system, the perfect symmetry of a daisy, the shape of the earth bear the marks a divine Designer who was not the best geometry student in the world... BUT the creator and inventor of it. Geometry began with Him....we have had the privilege of taking just a little peak into what He has done and how he used it..... Have a blessed and spiritually uplifting summer. May God protect you from the temptations of the world and the devil this summer and may the Holy Spirit give the divine courage to say "NO" to all that is ungodly. Have a great summer. Thank you for being my students this year...we learned many things together.
This has certainly be an interesting year as we explored the many world views that surround us as we pursue our Christian walk in a confused and sometimes threatening world. I appreciate every one of you. My earnest prayer is that something you learned in class may help you deal with your world as you minister Christ to others in need of his saving grace. Honestly, we only touched the surface on many things. May something in class be a motivation to you to never stop learning about world views, never prevent you from learning God's word, and never keep you from sharing the good news with others. I made much of daily Bible reading and study. Please contact me if yo need guidance with this area this summer. There are many worthwhile ways and methods that cost little but can reap a bounty of rewards in this earthly Christian walk and in eternity. Thank you for being in my class.
