We are at the end of another year and I say, "where has the year gone?" I have enjoyed and had fun with my class. I wish we had more time together. The class loves to learn and has come along way this year. I want to say, thank you parents for letting me teach your child this year. I trust they are ready for third grade.

June News last week

It's time for Summer!!!
1. The last week of school is a full day of classes for the elementary except for Friday. Friday, June 6th is the last day of school.
2. On June 6th at 10:30 will be our Elementary Awards Program. Also, please make plans to attend this program, the last day of school. School is dismissed after the program.
3. The two second grades are planning their end of the year party together. The date is Wed. June 4th at Chuck E. Cheese's. Parents make plans to come.
4. Thursday will be clean and game day. Bring a board game.

End of year party June 4th
 
We are having our end of the year party at Chuck E. Cheese's on June 4th. The tentative time will be 10:00 to around 1:00. We will leave school around 9:30 for Chuck E. Cheese's. All students are to meet at school at regular time. The cost will be $6.30. This includes 16 tokens, and pizza. Parents make plans to attend.

 Summer Practice
Take some time this summer to reinforce concepts and facts learned over the year. Order the practice books from the pamphlet sent home this week. Encourage your child to read over the summer and practice math combinations.
